Corona Beer company cleans up the beach at La Boca, Cabarete
PUERTO PLATA.- With the slogan: “Be part of the solution, join as a volunteer” Corona beer company has undertaken a day of beach cleanup in our country that included the municipal district of Cabarete.
“Corona” along with the institution “Parley for the Oceans” assumed the commitment to protect 100 islands of the world from the contamination of plastic by 2020, for which the clean-up days by local organizations began at the coasts of the Dominican Republic.
This initiative to protect the marine ecosystem and preserve the natural beauty of the beaches, arises from the obvious problem of plastic waste in the Malecón de Santo Domingo that grabbed the headlines of almost all the media in the country in recent days.
