NPN event at Yamazato Sushi restaurant in Cabarete

We had a great evening at Yamazato, and the food was as always top notch! Many thanks to all attendee’s for joining us this evening, and like always new connections were made – great to see.

Nice People Networking just celebrated its 2nd birthday!

NPN just celebrated its 2nd birthday at the ultra cosy “Baretto Cafe” at Kite Beach Inn. It was a fabulous evening by the beach, enjoying their delicious BBQ followed by scrumptious birthday cake from Verena’s Cafe. Many thanks Barettos’s owners Dario and Franco and their staff for a great eveining! Everyone seemed to enjoy meeting each other, and new interesting connections were made. One couple even let us know that they originally met at one of our NPN events and are now expecting. So it’s more than just business connections that are coming about from growing the club.

Goals for Year 3:

We aim to continue building our numbers (still for free) including more good folks from the region, including Puerto Plata members. The expansion of our website’s Business Directory, Discount Coupons and News section will continue. Within the next week we are launching our new Classifieds section within our site, so get your ads ready so you can sell items which you need to turn into cash. Also remember that our NPN News & DR Living sections are there for you to launch articles yourself. If you have some interesting non commercial news to get out to the residents in this region. We are also always keen to receive Youtube links for our cool videos.

We thank all those who believed and supported our club till now, and remember it’s here to benefit us all, so join and let’s together build it bigger and bigger.

NPN event at Gordito’s Tex Mex

Hi there! We had a great evening tonight at Gordito’s Tex Mex in Cabarete. Everyone enjoyed each other’s company. Very friendly relaxing atmosphere, interesting conversations. .. The food was super! Tacos, Buritos, Bowls – Mexican style. Hospitable hosts Joe and Dedra. All the new comers of the restaurant said that they would definately come back to the place.

A small piece of advice: If you are tired of your home made food or you just sometimes don’t feel like cooking, take a trip to Plaza Ocean Dream to have an enjoyable meal at Gordito’s Text Mex. By the way the prices are VERY affordable!

See you at our next event! Next time it will be our 2nd club anniversary. Don’t miss it! It’s gonna be lot’s of fun!

El Colibri “Indian Buffet” event

2 weeks ago we had a return to the restaurant at Hotel El Colibri. We had a great time with our regular members turing up. The Indian food seemed popular that evening. The food was made by an authentic chef from Sri Lanka. If you didn’t happen to try it then you can still do it every Wednesday at Hotel El Colibri. At this event NPN awarded its winners of the Video link contest – Dive Cabarete team. Some of the members were promoting their services and product, e.g Sabine – Shiatzu massage, straight away giving a demonstartion of her skills to few of attendees.

Baretto Cafe in Cabarete

May, 13′th we had our NPN event at the newly opened cafe in Cabarete – Baretto Cafe. The place is run by an Italian gentleman Franco. It was a very pleasant, cosy evening. The event showed a good turn-up of our club members. Good food, great company, fresh breeze from the ocean. The bonfire in the beach. Everyone enjoyed it!

A big thanks to Lisa & John at Cabaha for great food, great service and the cosy ambience you created for our event!

And of course a big thanks to all who attended. Great to see both returning networkers and the new members. Everyone found the food both interesting and delicious.

NPN event at PJ’s restaurant feedback

PJ’s was a fun event. New connections were made and every one joined in singing along with 2 great guitar players. Thanks to all who attended and to PJ’s for good food and service.

NPN event at Hotel “El Colibri”

Thanks to all attendees who came to our event at “El Colibri” Hotel – Restaurant “Sabor” Friday, 18th . We had a great time in a nice relaxing atmosphere, tried their famous Oriental Buffet, which was very good. A good number of newcomers came as well as regulars.

The owner of the place – Stephen was very friendly and attentive to everyone. New connections private and business have been established. We recommend this place to others: www.elcolibri.net

“Serenade” restaurant NPN event

Thanks to everyone who came to our NPN event Saturday night, March 5′th. We had a great time tasting Argentian grill food and listening to live music – Christian Gillmon, the German guitar player and singer was doing really well with popular rock ballads and blues. Again this time we enjoyed the company of a good number of new comers - very nice and energetic people, as well as  a solid turn up of regular members.

Thanks to the staff of Serenade Restaurant for making it a good relaxing evening.
