Cuisine: Currently we only offer Hotdogs, but will have in the near future sandwiches, Cheese/Hamburgers and/or Panini’s (when advertised) with the occasional Guest Crock-pot Dish (i.e chilies, stews and soups). Description: Whenever you’ve got nothing to do and nowhere to go, and want to go “Somewhere”, head to our bar located in the middle of the pool in the Las Canas Resort in La Mulata, where it’s always 5 o’clock. The operators are Tim and Kelly Paterson from Canada, who moved to DR 3 years ago to “live the dream”. Both are ex service personnel with a combined 60+ years with the Canadian Armed Forces and Kelly having served as an Auxiliary Member in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Therefore, as a gesture of thanks and appreciation, they are offering an “Always Happy Hour” status to current and former service personnel (Military / Police / Firefighters / Ambulance and Search & Rescue staff – upon proof of valid current or retired ID) from around the world.

This is a new renovated place in Sosua, located right by the highway Sosua – Puerto Plata, near Sosua center. New ownership. The restaurant looks modern and cosy, has a large bar in the middle, comfortable seating, big TV screen, its own butchery with fresh meat products and famous German sausages, and a shop with a variety of imported products from Germany (more than 50 different foods on the shelves).
