Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Royalton Bavaro Hotel in Punta Cana
The international company Blue Diamond Resorts recently began construction of a 740-room luxury hotel in Punta Cana, on the country’s easternmost region.
The overall investment of the new facility is US$200 million, announced company executives. This will be the fourth facility built by Blue Diamond Resorts in the Dominican Republic. The hotel is scheduled to open in December 2017.
The hotel will be an all-inclusive facility, featuring nine restaurants, including a buffet restaurant right on the beach.
Other restaurants will be the exclusive“Zen de Royalton,”with an impressive Teppanyakimenu, as well as the Hunter Steakhouse.
It will also provide guests with such luxury facilities as the world-class Royal Spa, the modern All-In Connectivity™ program, featuring free Wi-Fi service.
Its comfortable rooms will all be equipped with a large hydro-massage tub, for two guests, and the beds will be the luxurioushand-made DreamBeds™.
With the construction of this new hotel, the Blue Diamond Resorts company will have a total of 2,060-rooms in the Punta Cana area. The chain currently operates the 485-room Royalton Punta Cana, the 525-room Memories Splashand the 320-room CHICPunta Cana, for adults only.
The first two are all-inclusive facilities for the entire family, while the third is an all-inclusive adults-only hotel.
