FinnAir announces direct flight from Helsinki to Puerto Plata every Thursday

PUERTO PLATA.- The Finnish national airline, Finnair (AY) announced that as of November 30th every Thursday a weekly direct flight will operate from Helsinki to the General Gregorio Luperón International Airport of  Puerto Plata.

According to exclusive data provided to the editor, Finnair has announced new seasonal destinations for the winter season 2017, in addition to Puerto Plata route, it also established new routes for other Caribbean tourist destinations – from November 19th with a weekly flight to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and Havana in Cuba.

The commercial director of Finnair, Juha Järvinen, explained that with the incorporation of four new Airbus A350-300 aircrafts in 2017 they will continue with the growth of their long-haul fleet, offering even more flights and flexibility to their customers.

In addition to the Caribbean nations, Finnair also offers a seasonal service to Toronto (Canada) and regular flights to New York, Chicago, and Miami in the United States.
