A violent month of March
According to the police, so far this month, violence has taken the lives of 103 people and injured another 198 in the Dominican Republic. Most were victims of attacks, armed robbery, robbery and domestic violence. The data reveals that 19 women were killed by gunshots or stabbed and another 14 were seriously injured.
The dead include 84 men, 10 of whom were police officers and two were members of the military who were killed by their own weapons. Among the men there were 184 injured.
