Writ against American ambassador is rejected
A National District judge has rejected a writ filed against the United States ambassador and other members of the US Embassy in a bid to prevent them from carrying out activities that they claim are in violation of the Constitution, such as visiting schools, by the Ambassador James Brewster accompanied by his husband.
Judge Danilo Caraballo Nunez rejected the writ presented by Dr. Wheshy Wilkeson Medina Sanchez against Wally Brewster, Bob Satawake, Alexandra Panehal and Francisco Castillo, the United States Embassy and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for being “flagrantly improper”.
The judge ruled that Medina Sanchez had not received any direct injury or loss as a result of Brewster’s or the other defendants’ behavior and there was therefore no case to answer.
