Three accused in Falcondo pollution case
The Ministry of Environment Specialized Prosecutors have accused Falconbridge Dominicana president David Soares, oil pipeline pumping station superintendent Geraldo Trinidad Martinez and director of mines Giovanni Emilio Bloise Garcia of environmental pollution in Quita Sueno de Haina in the southwestern province of San Cristobal. They are accused of allowing gaseous emissions from three fuel storage units in the area. The case will be heard in San Cristobal.
