The Hard Rock Hotel in Santo Domingo Will Open in 2017
The second Hard Rock hotel brand in the Dominican Republic will open in downtown Santo Domingo, the capital city of the Dominican Republic.
The 400-room, 40- story building, is scheduled to open at the end of 2017.
The hotel will be built thanks to a strategic alliance between the Mexican companies Grupo Posada and the All-Inclusive Collection, two companies specializing in the construction of luxury hotels in Mexico and the Caribbean.
The hotel will feature a 23,000 square foot casino (the second in the Caribbean) with two bars, a gambling den, 400 slot machines and 40 game tables.
The new facility will be built in the heart of city of Santo Domingo, on Abraham Lincoln Avenue, in one of the city’s most exclusive neighborhoods, and guests will be able to enjoy a modern projection room, a nightclub and various swimming pools.
The Grupo Posada also owns the rights of the 1,775-room Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana, the first to open in the Caribbean.
