Security heightened at Dominican airports, ports, and borders in wake of Nice attack
Santo Domingo.- Defense minister Maximo W. Muñoz said Friday that security in all ports, airports and border posts was reinforced as a preventive measure, in the heels of the terrorist attack in southern France.
Speaking at San Isidro Airbase Muñoz said the tragedy in Nice is cause for concern.
French anti-terrorism prosecutor Francois Molins said Friday that the terrorist in the attack that has left at least 84 dead and dozens seriously injured, was the work of Boulhel Mohamed, 31, of Tunisia.
