Scheduled blackouts announced for Puerto Plata
The northern electricity supply company, EdeNorte has announced scheduled blackouts in Puerto Plata for two days during the first week of March for maintenance work on substations in the area.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, 2 March 2016 power will be cut off from 8am to 6pm in Murrillo, Los Llabones, Barrio de Tona, La 17, La 14, Pueblo Nuevo, Tasajera, Imbert town center, El Cupey, Las Tres Canas del Cupey, La Berenjena, Loma del Gallo, Piedra Candela, Sabana del Corozo, La Guaita, the Brugal and Jose Francisco Pena Gomez neighborhoods, La Marina, Pangola, Loma de la Bestia, El Estrecho, Barrancon, Candelon, Escalereta, Baraguana, Barrio Invi, Media Luna, Guananico, Romerico, Guaconejal, Cabia, Las Mariposas, La Cabirma, Rincon Caliente, Fundacion, Olla Grande, El Mamey, La Isabela, Llano de Perez, La China, Quebrada Honda, Altamira, El Tunel, El Murazo, La Atravesada and El Lirial.
On Friday, 4 March several hours of blackouts are scheduled for Cabarete, Playa la Rinconada, Punta Goleta, and the beach area where hotels Ocean Manor, Orilla del Mar, Ocean Dream, Viva Tangerine, Celuisma Tropical and Ocean Front are located, as well as in Camino del Sol, Ola del Mar, Procab, Jardin de Cabarete, the baseball ground in Cabarete, Kite Beach, Dulce Vida, La Pista de Motocross, La Colonia, Callejon de La Loma, La Cienaga and Costa Azul.
