Ricky Martin and Paloma San Basilio start calendar shows of 2016
Puerto Rican Ricky Martin and Spaniard Paloma San Basilio will begin the 2016 schedule of shows by artists of international fame in the Dominican Republic.
Ricky Martin will launch his “One World Tour” in the amphitheater at Altos de Chavon in Casa de Campo on February 6th, 2016.
The show will include a display of visual resources that will give color to the wide repertoire of songs selected for the occasion.
The concert will include songs in Spanish and English; including “Tal vez”, “Living la vida loca”, “It’s Alright”, “She bangs”, “Come with me”, “Asignatura pendiente”, “Disparo al corazón”, “Tu recuerdo” y “Vuelve”.
In addition to the Dominican Republic, the tour will be presented in Puerto Rico, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
Singer, songwriter, actor and Puerto Rican writer, Ricky Martin has won a Grammy; five Latin Grammys; three Billboard eight Billboard Latin Music Awards; eight MTVs; eight World Music Awards and two American Music Awards.
Paloma San Basilio will present her symphonic proposal at the Nuryn Sanlley Municipal Amphitheater, located in the heart of Santo Domingo, also on February 6th, 2016.
San Basilio will be accompanied by an orchestra of 48 symphony musicians, conducted by maestro José Antonio Molina, who on other occasions has performed with Placido Domingo, Pavarotti and Jose Carreras.
The show entitled “Paloma San Basilio symphonic” was presented in Colombia, Madrid, Barcelona and Salamanca.
The singer won a Latin Grammy Award and has appeared in works of musical theater such as Evita, Man of La Mancha, My Fair Lady and Victor Victoria.
