Renovation of Pedro Clisante resumed
Since two weeks, work has resumed on the renovation of the main street Pedro Clisante. The sidewalk pavement has been removed from the restaurants from Jolly Rogers to the Latin Bar of Willy el Chamo.
The beautiful pavement sections in front of the different bars like the Cubana Bar have been removed. Because of the bad weather for the last few days, the work is delayed a bit. Nevertheless, all business owners hope the renovations will be completed before the elections on 15 May. After the elections, there is usually a break from the municipal government because the new council has to be compiled and incorporated. Fortunately, it is now low season, so there is not too much revenue loss for the bars and restaurants on the street.
