Over 7000 tourists arrived today to Amber Cove Cruise Port, Puerto Plata
PUERTO PLATA – More than seven thousand tourists arrived in Puerto Plata on Tuesday, January 19th, aboard two majestic cruise ships.
The first cruise ship to reach the coast today was the transatlantic Costa Delicioza from Italy, which arrived at 7:45 AM and sailed off in the afternoon, remaining at the port for six hours.
The second cruise ship was Eurodam from Canada, which came to the Amber Cove terminal at 8:00 am and left at 3:00 pm.
As usual, thousands of cruise passengers remain at the Amber Cove terminal for few hours, they move around in comfortable vehicles to various attractions of Puerto Plata destination.
Among the places that are visited are the cable car, the 27 waterfall Damajagua, Cayo Arena, playa La Ensenada, La Isabela Histórica, Ocean Word water park, the colonial fortress San Felipe and the historic center of the city with its Victorian style buildings, in addition to Cofresi, Costambar, Long Beach, Sosua, and Cabarete beaches.
