Nickelodeon Punta Cana Opens in May 2016
The Karisma Hotels & Resorts chain will open on May 1, 2016 in Punta Cana, on the country’s eastern region.
It is the first Nickelodeon hotel built outside the United States.
The Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana features 208 suites, some with jacuzzis and swimming pools included and two and three bedroom villas.
One of the villas, known as the “Pineapple Villa,” is inspired by the home of SpongeBob Square Pants, the Nickelodeon cartoon character.
The resort’s central area will consist of the “Nickelodeon Village,” which will include a full playground, slides and an artificial river.
Also, the Characters Center, where guests can learn all about the cartoons featured through Nickelodeon’s television programming; a clubhouse, sports and entertainment center, and a gift shop.
Other important family-oriented features include baby food, cribs, and bottle warmers, among other features.
Guests will be able to enjoy excellent meals at one of the hotel’s ten restaurants, which will range from family-friendly to elegant facilities.
It will also feature the Vassa Spa with five cabins, a suite for couples, outdoor cabins, a steam room, sauna, chromo-therapy showers, inflatable beds and hot and cold swimming pools.
