New Chilean Airlines Begins Flights to Punta Cana
The new Latin American Wings (LAW) airline recently announced that Punta Cana would be its first point of destination in the Caribbean.
General Manager Andres Dulcinelli said the airline was founded through an alliance put together by representatives of the country’s aviation industry.
It began regular flights to Punta Cana this past January 28.
“Today, the aviation market is highly concentrated, but the most pessimistic data reveals that by 2030 flights from Chile will double.
That’s why this project was launched,” explained Dulcinelli.
He also indicated that studies revealed that “market growth will be so dynamic that current airlines will not be able to cover all destinations.”
