Man Charged for Luring Two Teen Boys for Sex
WILDWOOD – Wildwood Police Department Uniform Patrol Division received a call from a concerned citizen reporting trespassers entering an abandoned property in the 200 block West Oak Avenue July 7 at approximately 4:30 a.m. Officers responding to the scene located three individuals on the property, ultimately identifying them as Haronid Rosario-Falcon, 27, and two juvenile males ages 13 and 14 years old.
During the ensuing investigation conducted by the Wildwood Patrol and Detective Divisions it was learned that Rosario-Falcon allegedly lured the juveniles to the Oak Avenue property under the false pretense that there was a party at that location. Once the boys arrived, Rosario-Falcon escorted the juveniles to a secluded location where he attempted to perform sexual acts on them both. Wildwood police officers arrived shortly thereafter and detained the three.
Rosario-Falcon, a citizen of the Dominican Republic who currently resides in Wildwood, has been charged with sexual assault, a crime of the second degree; criminal sexual contact, a crime of the third degree; and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, each being a crime of the third degree.
Bail for the above listed charges was set at $175,000 full cash, no ten percent, by Cape May County Superior Court Judge John Porto. Rosario-Falcon was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty. This report is based on information received from law enforcement.
