International Council on Civil Aviation Praises Advances Made by Dominicans
The commissioners of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization and representatives from the Council’s Air Navigation Commission recently visited the Dominican Republic to become familiar with the country’s aeronautics system.
The international visitors praised the country’s aeronautic infrastructure and use of advanced technology.
During their three-day visit, the commissioners visited Punta Cana’s international airport and other relevant sites.
“In relation to the standard requirements, we monitor the implementation and progress of the protocols. From what we have seen we can say that the Dominican Republic has complied with all international standards…”, said Farid Zizi, president of the Commission that visited the country.
