French Company Will Operate All Dominican International Airports
The French-based Vinci Airports company recently purchased the AERODOM company, which currently operates the five Dominican international airports.
Vinci announced it purchased the shares owned by Advent Airports, AERODOM’s majority shareholder.
The operation should be completed no later than March 31, 2016.
AERODOM operates the Las Americas (Santo Domingo), Gregorio Luperon (Puerto Plata), La Isabela (also in Santo Domingo), El Catey (Samana) and Maria Montes (Barahona, on the country’s southwest region) airports.
Representatives from both companies signed the agreement on December 11, 2015.
