First Lady hands over home to sextuplets
First Lady Candida Montilla has attended the handover ceremony of a house that had been promised to the family of a set of sextuplets born in February. The event took place in La Victoria municipality in northern Santo Domingo Province on Monday, 25 April 2016. The babies were born at the Reynaldo Almanzar Hospital in Santo Domingo North on 8 February 2015. Five of the six have survived n Anderson, Enderson, Ashley, Aleisha and Sarai. Monsignor Ramon Benito Angeles, public health authorities and neighbors and relatives of the sextuplets’ mother Aracelis Guzman, also attended the event.
The new fully furnished home, which cost RD$5 million, has four bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, two bathrooms, and a washing area.
