Electoral Board hacking suspect gets 3 months in jail
Santo Domingo.- The National District court Permanent on Wednesday ruled three months of pretrial detention against a man charged with trying to hack the Central Electoral Board (JCE) website last Thursday.
Judge Jose Alejandro Vargas ordered the accused Johanser Antonio Ruiz, who works as a guard at Santo Domingo’s INTEC Institute, remanded to La Victoria prison.
The court ruled for the High-Tech Crimes Office of the Prosecutor’s request to deny bail for the accused.
