Dominican Wings made its maiden flight to the US flight
Miami.- The carrier Dominican Wings on Friday made its maiden flight to the US, where it plans to open operations to many American cities, after obtaining local and international licenses.
The first flight, DW 233, featured a modern Airbus 320 aircraft, which landed at noon in Miami International Airport.
Speaking before senior executives, guests and the press after the flight, company president Victor Pacheco Mendez expressed satisfaction with the resumed link between the two countries, which he affirms will promote Dominican Republic’s tourism.
“We intend to lift Dominican Republic’s name up high with excellent service, offering competitive prices, efficiency and quality for customers, to become one of the region’s most important tourist lines,” said the head of the carrier founded by Dominican and American investors, quoted by acento.com.do.
