Santo Domingo.- With ports-of-call from Coco Cay in the north to Martinique in the south, the cruise company offers a stop in the Dominican Republic beach town of Samana, just when it needed to jumpstart its tourism.
According to the ad posted on cruisenude.com, Bare Necessities Tour & Travel will use the Celebrity Constellation from Feb. 6 to 16 to conduct the cruise that also includes Grand Turk Island, the Bahamas and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
“The port of Samana is a beautiful and peaceful spot with friendly, laid back Dominicans all set to the beat of Merengue, Bachata and Salsa music,” Bare Necessities affirms to titillate the future travelers who´ll set sail from Fort Lauderdale to visit “the hot tub” of Dominican Republic’s northeast.
“The newly renovated seaside promenade is perfect for strolling the gorgeous bay and marina filled with sailing and fishing boats. It also has great shopping, as well as eateries and cafes where you can sit, sip and people watch,” the company says on its ad.
