Criminal who shot the German tourist gets arrested
PUERTO PLATA – The Northern Regional Directorate of the National Police of Puerto Plata reported that last night through the mediation of journalists the offender Dauris Manuel Felipe Mora (La Daga) was delivered to the Police station. He is the main accused of killing the German tourist on the local boardwalk a week ago.
It states that before police siege, the young antisocial decides to surrender to the Police.
The offender Dauris Manuel Felipe Mora (Dagger) in a company of Luis Rafael Parra had a gun fight with police officers in Santiago Rodriguez, where he managed to escape, but his companion was arrested and taken to Puerto Plata where a court imposed a 12-month of preventive prison. Public prosecutors and officials continue questioning “Dagger” in relation to his involvement in the murder during a robbery of the German Ernst Gunter Haun who died minutes later after being shot in the left side of chest.
The arrested will be sent to court in the coming hours.
