Conjoined twins born in Moca
The general director of the Dr. Arturo Grullon regional children’s hospital, Rosa Maria Morel, says that a set of conjoined twins were born in a clinic in Moca on Friday, 5 February 2016 and are being treated in the intensive care unit.
Morel said that the babies are joined at the abdomen and that they were hoping that if their condition improved they would be transferred to Plaza de la Salud hospital in Santo Domingo. She added that she was unable to provide a prognosis at this stage.
