Citizens claim to be victims of a new form of theft in Puerto Plata
PUERTO PLATA – A new criminal modality has emerged in recent days in the province of Puerto Plata, specifically in the town of Imbert, according to reports from several citizens.
These vandals break car windows parked in the vicinity of shops and public offices in order to steal radios and everything they find inside.
It was reported that in recent days a lot of vehicles in Imbert and other sectors of Puerto Plata had their crystals smashed, even in parking lots of commercial establishments where there is supposedly some monitoring, which is very worrying.
Citizens who have been victims of this new form of theft, ask the authorities of the National Police throughout the province of Puerto Plata to increase monitoring to ensure that criminals do not continue implementing the practice of breaking crystals in vehicles.
Something must be done urgently to stop the miscreants, which is already generating concern and unease in the population of Puerto Plata.
