Casa de Campo is #2 in Live and Invest Overseas Top 10 Best Places To Retire Overseas To Play Golf
In case you haven’t heard, Casa de Campo again makes the list for the world’s finest places to play golf. We recently shared Teeth of the Dog’s recognition in Golf Digest. This time, our luxury resort finds itself in Live and Invest Overseas’ Best Places To Retire Overseas To Play Golf, garnering spot #2!
Live and Invest Overseas was founded by Kathleen Peddicord and is perceived as a one of the world’s most trusted sources of information when it comes to living, retiring, and investing overseas. They even held a conference in Santo Domingo last year titled, “Live And Invest In The Dominican Republic.”
This information doesn’t come as a surprise to us, since we know first-hand how amazing it is to live here! Not only for golfers or retirees, but anybody who wishes to live comfortably, surrounded by nature, positive attitudes, beauty and friendship. In addition, Casa de Campo has a ton of amenities to offer.
A few weeks ago, we hosted the Latin America Amateur Championship, LAAC on the Teeth of the Dog, selected for its mastery in design and competitive layout. It demonstrated itself to be a true challenge, and left the LAAC in a tight race, ultimately won by Paul Chaplet. Casa de Campo also has 2 other golf courses, designed by Pete Dye as well: The Dye Fore and The Links Course. Golfers have access to high-end golf carts, specialty events like Night Golf, which has opened on Teeth of the Dog’s new driving range, and expert consultation in the field through Casa de Campo’s golf department.
It’s not only a golfer’s paradise though. Residents and guests alike have a number of extraordinary places to visit. First of, La Marina offers an amazing selection of restaurants, or the ability to take your boat out of the harbor and enjoy the calm waters of the Caribbean ocean. Palmilla and Catalina, both nearby, offer beautiful landscapes and pristine beaches. Bask in the sun, snorkel, or partake in exhilarating water sports there or shoreside at Casa de Campo’s very own Minitas.
Sports enthusiasts can visit the shooting range with qualified personnel, or the tennis club to perfect their backhand and serve. Excursions on bikes and horseback are available to all throughout Casa, including little ones! In fact, this weekend as part of Hogar del Niño’s Annual Weekend, there will be a MTB bike marathon.
