“Las Terrenas:” A Seductive and Magical Ocean front Village, on the Country’s North Coast

The V Samnaa is the new jewel of “Las Terrenas.” The 144-room adults-only facility was recently inaugurated in the nearby seaside village of Coson, situated just minutes from “Las Terrenas.”  The hotel features a swimming pool, jacuzzi, an air-conditioned gym, a natural spa, jogging track and a cigar shop and lounge.  Kayaking outings are organized by the hotel.

Sublime Samana

Balcones del Atlantico

This is another facility that offers guests 30 villas with one, two or three bedrooms.  Each unit is equipped with fully-equipped bathrooms, flat screen TVs; kitchens with Cuisinart and Vinking appliances; a large terrace with Jacuzzi, plus an utility room.  The resort features two swimming pools, a beach bar, children’s playground, spa and the Portos Restaurant. Prices range between US$250 per day, including breakfast.

The Peninsula House

This boutique hotel has also won international awards and has appeared on the list of the world’s best boutique hotels.  The six-bedroom 18th century Victorian residence offers guests a cozy and intimate ambiance, situated right on the beach.  Designed by French architect Serge Robi, The Peninsula House is truly an out of this world experience.
