The beauty contest “Golden Queen of the Dominican republic” is won by Sosua’s girl
PUERTO PLATA Dalila Capote, 19-year-old, who comes from the tourist town of Sosua, was crowned on Tuesday as the Dominican Reina del Oro in a beauty contest that was held at the Ministry of Culture in Santo Domingo and was attended by 15 young representatives from different provinces.
In a tight competition, Dalila Capote showed grace, beauty and charm marching in a beautiful evening dress of champagne color, which was made by the famous Dominican designer Gianina Azar.
This young woman, began her participation in beauty contests at the age of 13 years at the hands of Paloma Almonte, was honored as Queen of Coral Teen 2009, later in 2010 was the winner of the title Chica Plus magazine Plus Magazine, in 2011 was crowned Princess Earth, and now as Dominican Reina del Oro.
Capote will have a year full of work since her reign is focused on the care and protection of the environment, she will be developing activities to integrate the community and raise awareness of the importance of this issue.
She is also preparing to represent the country in the international competition World Reina del Oro. Paloma Almonte is the director of the pageant queen Coral, she was in charge of the preparation of the queen with the support of Yamazato Restaurant, the designer Benito Antonio, the makeup artist Happy Roque and photographer Gabriel Rodes.
