Start of renovation of Pedro Clisante street
Last Tuesday, November 3rd there was a meeting for entrepreneurs reg. Pedro Clisante street, in the town hall of Sosúa. Mayor Ilana Neumann announced that the Tourism Minister, Francisco Javier Garcia commissioned to make a significant sum of money available to renovate the main street Pedro Clisante. The renovation consists of upgrading the sidewalks with decorative tiling, replacement of the existing trees with palm trees and to improve and beautify the street lighting. The street pavement itself remains untouched. Work will begin on Tuesday, November 10th. Whether the street will be closed for traffic again in the evening and make it a pedestrian zone, is still unknown.
