Santo Domingo launches a pilot project to deal with noise complaints
Santo Domingo.- To deal with the frequent complaints of noise in Greater Santo Domingo, law enforcement, prosecutors, municipal and environmental authorities will launch a pilot project with the National Emergency System 9-1-1.
Santo Domingo East mayor Juan de los Santos said a protocol to regulate businesses that sell alcoholic beverages is being created. “We’ve also spoken about a possible license for such businesses because they’re often created and have appropriate permit, so the municipalities also have to play their role in that part.”
In a National Palace meeting to discuss the protocol participated Presidency chief of staff Gustavo Montalvo, Justice minister Francisco Dominguez, National District prosecutor Yeni Berenice Reynoso, National Police chief Manuel Castro, Environment minister Bautista Rojas and representatives from the National District City Council.
