Puerto Plata offers warm welcome to hundreds of tourists traveling on the cruise ship Carnival Victory

PUERTO PLATA The authorities of Puerto Plata offered on Tuesday morning a splendid welcome to hundreds of tourists who came on the cruise ship “Carnival Victory” which is the first to reach the newly built terminal Amber Cove Maimon, Puerto Plata this year 2015.

The act of welcoming visitors took place in Independence Square or Central Park where there was presented a musical rhythm of merengue tasty (Perico Ripiao) where a folk ballet and a group of children danced merrily to typical meringue orchestra from the joint Air Base in Puerto Plata, the grace of identity Taimáscaros are local carnival and several troubadours of the Ministry of Tourism.

At 6:00 am on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 the tourist terminal in Maimon, Amber Cove, welcomed the cruise ship “Carnival Victory”, the first to arrive in Puerto Plata in the year 2015, on board the was about 2,754 passengers and 1,100 ship crew.
These visitors began to step off of the cruise at 8:05 am. From local destinations that were offered by Carnival Corporation there are tours “Four Wheels”, the historic center, the water park Ocean World, the cable car to the 27 pools of Damajagua in Imbert, overlooking the famous beaches of Sosua and Cabarete and others point of attraction of “The Bride of the Atlantic” since the departure of “Carnival Victory” is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
