Nickelodeon Hotels coming soon to the Dominican Republic
The Karisma Hotels & Resorts and Viacom International Media Networks signed an agreement to open a Nickelodeon Hotel in the fall of 2016 in the Dominican Republic.
The Nickelodeon hotels are family-oriented facilities featuring such unforgettable Nickelodeon characters like SpongeBob, Dora and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The hotel will be built in Punta Cana, on the country’s easternmost region.
The Punta Cana international airport handled more than 2.9 million tourists in 2014.
The Viacom International Media Networks is a division of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIAB, VIA).
Its multimedia entertainment brands are some of the world’s popular companies, including MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET, Paramount Channel, among others.
The “Nickelodeon” portfolio includes worldwide television programming and production, special events, consumer products, digital offerings, recreation, books and movies, to name a few.
The Karisma Hotels & Resorts is a chain of hotels which owns and manages properties in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.
