Major concert was cancelled at the last minute in Santo Domingo
Santo Domingo.- The company SD Concerts Thursday night announced it suspended the Santo Domingo Live concert that was set for at the Olympic Stadium Saturday, “for reasons of force majeure which have occurred in the last 24 hours.”
Local media report that that concert promoter and impresario Saymon Diaz was urgent flown to Miami, United States aboard an air ambulance after suffering a serious heart problem.
“Against our will, after a meeting tonight with all the technical and administrative staff working for the company, we agreed to postpone indefinitely until the president of the company, the impresario Saymon Diaz recovers from a health relapse suffered last Wednesday night,” said SD Concerts spokesman Maximo Jimenez.
The singers Mark Anthony, Carlos Vives, Pit Bull and Alejandro Sans and the DJ Nicky Jam were to headline the event.
