Interpol arrests 2 Italians in Cabarete
PUERTO PLATA Members of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), captured last night in the municipal district of Cabarete two Italian citizens, required by the authorities of Italy, since both are accused of forgery and fraud in that country.
According to the information provided by Interpol, the Italians were identified as Massimo Peraza and Andrea D. Aloja, who were arrested during a raid by Interpol agents in Residential Pro-Cab. The arrested could be sentenced to a maximum penalty of ten years in prison.
They were transferred to the central headquarters in Santo Domingo, to make diplomatic arrangements for deportation to Italy.
