Hypermarket chain “Jumbo” starts construction in Puerto Plata
PUERTO PLATA Group of Executives of the National Center Cuesta (NAC) chaired by businessman Jose Miguel González Cuadra visited Puerto Plata on Monday. The construction of a branch of the Jumbo hypermarket has initiated, just in front of the stadium José Briseño, at the roundabout by Manolo Tavares Justo Avenue, Hermanas Mirabal and Luperon highway.
It states that CCN executives Group, traveled to Puerto Plata on board of the private helicopter tuition HI975 blue, who immediately ordered the start of work on earth moving and preparation of a large area.
The hypermarkets Jumbo are larger in size and number with eight stores across the country – in the capital, La Romana, San Pedro de Macoris, La Vega, Santiago and soon in Puerto Plata.
Finely, the hypermarket Jumbo Puerto Plata will be managed by staff of this province from the senior management to operational positions and will have a staff of about 250 employees, as reported by executives of the CCN Group, while opening this new branch comes accompanied by a series of projects that seek to influence the economic dynamics of Puerto Plata by supporting the development of local producers.
