Government publishes its most wanted list
Attorney General Francisco Dominguez Brito has called for public cooperation to help locate the country’s 19 most wanted criminals. The list includes 17 Dominicans, a Colombian and a Venezuelan sought for crimes related to drug trafficking, asset laundering and murder. The authorities have impounded millions worth of assets said to belong to the accused. Speaking at a press conference yesterday, Thursday 10 September 2015, the Attorney General unveiled a poster with the photos of the fugitives and instructions on how to contact the authorities with information on them. He said they have requested assistance from all the national and international security forces, including Interpol.
The names on the list are: Pascual Cabrera Ruiz and Claribel Amparo De Cabrera, Jesus Pascual Cordero Martinez (El Chino), Edgar Antonio Galano Berroa, Cristian Manuel Sencion Maceo, Matias Avelino Castro and Nadiuska Rodriguez Hart, Geovanny Antonio Rodriguez Abreu, Paula Yokasta Morillo Cuevas, Bertilio Solano (alias Juan Santo Baez), Reynaldo Jose Carrasco Torres, Cristian Vanesa Perez Beato, Eladio Reyes De La Cruz, Jose Aristy Diaz Medina, Marleni Consuelo Almonte Pena, Ramon Joel Tavera Batista (El Shorty), Jonas Aquiles Castillo Rijo, Colombian Julio Rubiano Quintero and Venezuelan Jose Alejandro Sevilla Castellanos.
