Florida Panthers to host hockey clinic in Dominican Republic
Santo Domingo.– The Florida Panthers announced that they have partnered with JetBlue and the Dominican Republic to visit Santo Domingo as part of the club’s youth hockey and community outreach initiatives.
According to panthers.nhl.com, Florida Panthers forward Vincent Trocheck, Cats alumni and Television Analyst Randy Moller, Stanley C. Panther and Panthers staff members will all take part in the team’s community outreach event, to be held from Sept. 8-10.
The Panthers will visit sick patients at CURE Hospital on Wednesday, Sept. 9 and host a youth street hockey clinic at King’s School for 75-100 students. “We are thrilled to partner with JetBlue in this unique opportunity to bring hockey to the Dominican Republic,” said Panthers Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Greg Rieber.
“The Panthers and JetBlue’s previous outreach initiatives in the Bahamas and Puerto Rico have been great successes. We look forward to continuing our community efforts and making a positive impact in Santo Domingo,” Rieber added.
