Gina Mambru, player of Dominican Republic: “We knew that this was going to be a very tough match, because we facing them on their home court in front of their raucous fans. We just had to keep our concentration and play our game. We were not complacent at all, we went out and put into action every minor detail that we’ve practiced and everything ended perfect”.

Arnd (Lupo) Ludwig, coach of Canada commented, “I think we made too many mistakes today. For us it was difficult to get into the game. Dominican Republic had a really good serving match. They started right away with four aces.”
