Dominicans win more gold at Special Olympics World Games
Los Angeles.- Special Olympians Cindy Gomez, 20, of Santo Domingo jumped a gold medal while 17 year old Gabriel Guerrero swam to a gold medal at World Games wrapping up Sunday in California.
On Saturday Gomez jumped to the Gold in the Long Jump while Guerrero 17 swam his way to the top prize in the open water swim contest.
Twelve year old Daniella Fortuna scored the Dominican Republic’s first gold medal at the Games on Thursday.
