Dominican Palace Hotel Will Undergo US$2MM Renovation
The Viva Wyndham Resorts chain announced that the US$2 million investment will concentrate on the overhaul of the facility’s main buffet restaurant and lobby area.
The hotel is situated is the seaside community of Bayahibe, on the country’s eastern region, and just 15 minutes east of La Romana’s international airport.
“La Yuca,” the hotel’s buffet restaurant, will be completely renovated with a new modern and design and contemporary decor. The lobby area will also be completely redone, highlighting a modern, minimalist setting in turquoise tones.
Erika Sordo, Viva Wyndham’s Corporate Director of Marketing and Public Relations, explained that the hotel will remain open during the renovation, and that customers will not be affected with the construction process. The renovation program is scheduled to be completed on October 25, 2015.

It also features three bars, disco, diving center, kids club, and a fun program of daytime and evening activities. For relaxation, a full spa with sauna, Jacuzzi and Turkish baths.
