Cruise ship “Queen Mary II”, one of the largest in the world is coming on Sunday to Amber Cove Port

PUERTO PLATA This Sunday, November 22, the ocean liner “Queen Mary II” will dock at the Amber Cove Cruise Terminal, Maimon, ┬áthe ship is considered to be one of the largest cruise ships that tour the world and its cost is about $ 900, 000,000 dollars.
This is the first cruise ship not from the company Carnival Corporation that will touch the northern port of the Dominican Republic
The cruise ship belongs to the Cunard Line and is one of the largest, most luxurious and expensive built in maritime history liners, until 2006 it was the largest passenger vessel in the world, but that year Royal Caribbean International launched to sea the “Freedom of the Seas,” which despite being 6 meters shorter than the Queen Mary 2, is 15 meters wider.
Then there was built the Oasis of the Seas, and the Royal Mail Ship Queen Mary 2 became the third largest ship of the world, and remains the world’s largest liner as the first two are not liners.
This vessel is used to cover the North Atlantic route and this is not the only time for the Royal Mail Ship Queen Mary, as from the January 10th this route will be the third leg of a trip out of 120 days that the ship will be sailing from Southampton, England, with a first stop in America on Sunday, January 17 in New York, then anchor in Fort Lauderdale (Miami) and then on Friday, January 22 again at Amber Cove (Maimon) Puerto Plata.

Named by the Queen in Southampton, England, in 2004, Queen Mary 2 is the largest Cunarder ever built.
