American businessman from Sosua is still missing
PUERTO PLATA. – The lawyer representing the family of American businessman Brent Lewis, who has been missing since November 3, 2014, revealed that for almost a year now but the authorities still have not the faintest idea whether he can be alive or dead.
The entrepreneur Brent Lewis mysteriously disappeared after having sold his hotel for $ 500,000, in the tourist town of Sosua. The rumor that they had supposedly found a dismembered body in a Moca farm, is false as DNA evidence of three bones and body parts found in different places, proved that none belongs to Lewis, who owned the Hotel Perla de Sosua.
The lawyer representing the family of American businessman, said that the only beneficiaries of his disappearance, are those who tried to transfer land titles including the hotel manager, Mary Geraldine de la Rosa, Frank Sorichetty, lawyer Eduardo Heinsen Quiroz.
The Prosecutor Attorney of Puerto Plata; Judge Alba Nunez Pichardo, said a team of prosecutors are doing deeper investigation to establish the real reasons for the disappearance of American businessman Brent Lewis, who had several properties in the tourist town of Sosua.
