Amber Cove terminal will have an active agenda with cruise ships arrival in 2016
PUERTO PLATA Some 100,000 cruise passengers will arrive at the terminal in Maimon Amber Cove located about 15 minutes from Puerto Plata, according to the Carnival Corporation which already has about 37 berths perform schedule from now until April 2016 as part of its first cruise ship season in the north of the Dominican Republic.
However, this figure will continue to increase in 2016.
Cruise company, will be using its ship “Victory” until the end of the season and other transatlantic ships are expected to dock at Amber Cove which will depart from Miami on 26 and 31 October and then in November the 8th, 22nd and 23rd and end the year in December with 7, 19, 20, 26 and 27, all starting from Miami.
In January ships are scheduled on 2, 3, 16, 24, 26, 30 and 31, arriving in Puerto Plata cruise ship “Carnival Breeze”, “Carnival Conquest”, “Carnival Sunshine” and ” Carnival Valor “, while in February they will depart from Miami on 13, 14, 27 and 28, in March – on 12, 19, 26 and 27th.
In April – 9, 23, 24 and 30th, also depart from Miami International to the Amber Cove Cruise Terminal, in May the following dates have been scheduled starting from Miami 14; 15; 21; 22; and 30th, in June – 4, 11, 18 and 25th will follow the cruise ships coming to The Bride of the Atlantic.
For the month of July 3 dates with 4 ships are scheduled, starting on day 2, continuing 16th with two ships and culminating on 23rd, while for August, the Carnival Corporation planned for days 1, 6, 13, 27 and 28 with six ships arriving at the Amber Cove terminal. In September also add six ships, departing from Miami on 3, 11, 17, 24 and 25.
