A modern development “Maimon Center” to build
PUERTO PLATA It is unofficially reported that the construction of a housing development called “Maimon Center” in Puerto Plata, is being planned and several employers of Santiago will be deployed for this project.
As reported in the weekly El Faro, buildings and homes of the project will be financed at low cost, which is part of an initiative by a large number of works on Maimon Sea Port. This will be the center of tourism revival that will come aboard of two ships owned by the giant company Carnival Cruises Lines, which had received a government grant for 30 years and dynamited tourism in the area creating jobs and services.
The project will be located in the center of Maimon, exactly near the Copley baseball and softball Liga Deportiva Luis Paradis, sports park will be moved elsewhere to make way for the construction of a central park by the Ministry of Tourism.
It is noted that urbanization “Maimon Center” is one of the achievements of the current director of the District Board; Ramón Saldaña.
