USA Today Praises Tortuga Bay Hotel
The Tortuga Bay Boutique Hotel, a member of the Puntacana Group, on the country’s easternmost region, has been included on USA Today’s list of “Devastatingly Stylish Hotels.”
According to the newspaper the Turtle Bay not only features a wonderful environment, due to its endless beach and impressive natural reserve, but is also home to beautiful and spacious villas.
USA Today says that the villas have a terrace or balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea, four-poster beds and fine Italian Frette linen.
The Tortuga Bay is a luxury hotel featuring 15 villas built with precious wood and cane. The villa designs were made so that they are able to blend perfectly with the surrounding landscape.
Decorated by world-famous Dominican-American fashion designer Oscar de la Renta, the Tortuga Bay was the first hotel in the Dominican Republic to join the global luxury hotel organization “Leading Hotels of the World.”
