According to a list published by the Lonely Planet website, the Dominican Republic ranks pretty high on their list of “Things to do in the Caribbean”. The popular list includes sports activities such as the Zipline Canopy Adventure in Punta Cana, on the country’s eastern region.

The Canopy Adventure company is organizing half-day tours to the Anamuya tropical forest, near the Bavaro-Punta Cana region.

Visitors will be able to marvel at the beauty of the region while gliding through the forest’s tree tops through more than 700 meters of cables.

There are 12 wooden platforms placed along the treetops, as well as a tower with 12-meter high platforms. More information available: www.canopyadventurezipline.com.
