Super Pola in Sosua now open
Recent opening, April 30th, 2014, caused a flood of visitors, who were anxious to check out Sosua’s new “Super Pola“, and to compare prices to the surrounding supermarkets. Despite the 1st day’s congestion at the check-out counters, the store certainly offers a good variety of products and fresh produce, with many new brands usually not found in Sosua. Some items are cheaper and some more expensive than the local competitors’. So within weeks shoppers will no doubt be hunting bargains at all supermarkets, hopefully driving the prices of overpriced items down.
The Super Pola entrance from and to the highway seems to get blocked by inconsiderate drivers with traffic jams building up on the highway. Motoconchos had their usual debates over who should have 1st pick at pedestrians looking for a ride. No doubt everything will flow smooth within the weeks to come. All in all it’s positive to have another supermarket in the area.
