Sidewalk in front of Casa Marina Resort is ready
After years of grumbling from taxi drivers and students, Mayor of Sosua ordered to completely renew the sidewalk opposite the entrance to Casa Marina Resort. The pavement was for many years a source of complaints for the many holes and obstacles (loose cables stole). A day before Christmas the work was completed. This required, however, that they even had to work on a Sunday. The sidewalk is now easy accessible again for pedestrians. The edges have a green area where shrubs have been planted. Also the rickety fence around the public school Gregorio Luperón is now replaced by a solid stone wall.
Now remain many other sidewalks in Sosúa, because there are more streets that really need a sidewalk renovation.
