Review: Music Festival “Caribbean Limit” was held at Parada El Choco last weekend
Last weekend (September 27-28, 2014) the first music event of its kind on the North Coast was held by the restaurant Parada Tipica El Choco together with the main sponsor – the cigar company “Davidoff”.
Despite the rains for the two days, the event gathered a good number of visitors, among them there were the dedicated clientele of the restaurant, many local expats and musicians. The artists from Switzerland, USA, Canada, Dominican republic took stage one after another for the non stop 8 hour show the first day, and starting from early morning the show continued the next day.
We enjoyed listening and dancing to such great artists as Anthony Jefferson (the impeccable blues voice), Atlantys, Variao (the Dominican cover bands), Stefan Roos (great entertainer and singer of popular Swiss songs), Zibbs (the young energetic lady bringing fresh vibe to the event), Joannes Linstead (the very skillful virtuous acoustic guitar players), Freda Goodlett (the rock’n blues voice of the event), the Dropouts (the local expat rock group). Each of them ignited the audience get on the dance floor.
We believe everybody who attended the festival we’ll be eager to attend an even bigger event next year.
